Always dependable, but never predictable.  That’s me in a nutshell.

Married 16+ years to a man I love more each year, with six children to keep us company.  Hey, when love is in the house, the house is packed.

We are living in a beautiful home built in 1925, in the midst of the crime-ridden city of Flint.  I believe this city may see a day of revival, not only of businesses and shops, but of homes, families, and hearts.  We are members of a church, Damascus Road, who is seeking to be used for this purpose as God sees fit.

You could say I’m one of those granola, crunchy bohemian moms because I cloth diaper, home school, wear my baby in a sling, and use natural medicine.

Yet I love playing my electric guitar and think global warming is a bunch of hooey.

On this blog I share much of my life’s passions along with the struggles and mistakes along the way.  Loving my husband, raising my children, fulfilling my creative urges, and creating a home of love, hospitality, and comfort for many.

And a long time ago, it all started with a kiss…
